Managing Your Review Data: How to Remove External Reviews from the CA Platform

We are pleased to announce a new feature that gives you greater control over your review data: you can now remove external reviews directly within the CA platform!

This enhancement ensures that you can manage your review inventory efficiently while guaranteeing your statistics remain accurate.

 

📝 How the Removal Feature Works

  • Eligibility: Only External Reviews can be deleted using this new feature.

    • Note: CA (Customer Alliance) reviews still require intervention from the Support team for removal.

  • Automatic Recalculation: Upon deletion, the system will automatically recalculate all relevant statistics to reflect the change immediately.

  • Crucial Reminder: To prevent the review from reappearing, you must first delete the review in its original external portal (e.g., Google, Booking, etc.) before deleting it in the Customer Alliance platform.

  • Permissions: This action is controlled by a specific User Permission which must be enabled for your account to access the deletion function.

⚠️ Crucial Step: Preventing Reviews from Reappearing

 

To ensure a removed review does not reappear in the platform, you must follow this critical step:

  • You must first delete the review in its original external portal (e.g., Google, Booking, etc.) before deleting it in the platform.

If you delete the review from the platform first, our system will simply re-import it from the external source during the next data sync.
