General

In the General settings, you can find several important configuration tabs that allow you to manage your business details, platform connections, and notifications.

1. Profile

In this section, you can view and edit your business’s address and contact information. You can also manage your social media accounts such as Facebook which are linked to your Customer Alliance profile. Lastly, this section allows you to manage your imprint.

2. Portal Accounts

This tab allows you to connect Google, Booking.com and Holidaycheck with your Customer Alliance system. The connection enables you to publish comments for these portals directly through Customer Alliance. We highly recommend setting up the connection to save time when commenting on reviews.

3. Interfaces

An interface is an automated transfer from a Property Management System to your Customer Alliance backend. To set up an interface, you can select the PMS and CM you are using and send a request. Our support team will contact you and let you know whether an interface between your PMS and Customer Alliance is possible.

4. Data management

The data management tab gives you two possibilities:

  • Delete guest data: Select a time after which guest data is automatically deleted. Please keep in mind that deleting guest data also means that all data from the blacklist will be deleted. Data that has been deleted can not be restored.
  • Archive reviews: Customer Alliance reviews can be archived after a set amount of time. Archived reviews will not be published anymore and won’t count in the satisfaction index. Archiving reviews can be a great way to improve your rating for example after extensive renovations took place. Archiving reviews is irreversible.

5. Alerts

In the Alerts tab, you can view and manage alerts related to your reviews and invitations.

Alerts for Reviews:

  • Negative Review Without a Comment: Triggered when a negative review, 40% or lower, is received without a written comment.
  • Summary of Excellent Reviews from Last Week: Provides a weekly summary of your top positive reviews.
  • Negative Review: Shown when a new negative review is recorded.
  • Positive Review with a Negative Category Rating: Triggered when a review is overall positive but includes a low rating in one category.
  • Negative Semantic Topic: Appears at the start of each week when a topic receives two or more negative mentions in the previous week, as long as those mentions make up at least 10% of all topics.

Alerts for Invitations:

  • Fewer Guests Invited in the Past Month: Shown when the number of invited guests drops by 10% or more compared to the previous month.
