Authorizing the Customer Alliance Email Domain on Booking.com

This guide explains how to authorize the Customer Alliance email domain within your Booking.com Extranet to ensure that automated guest communications (such as pre-stay information and post-stay review invitations) are delivered without interference.

Required Action

You must add the following domain to your authorized sender list on the Booking.com Extranet:

 @reply.customer-alliance.com

Step 1: Accessing the Extranet

  1. Navigate to the Booking.com Extranet (admin.booking.com).
  2. Log in using your property's credentials.

Step 2: Locating the Email Domain Settings

The exact location of the domain whitelisting feature can vary depending on your property type and account configuration.

  • Look for the "Inbox" tab.
  • From the "Inbox" menu, look for one of the following options:
    • "Messaging Preferences"
    • "Email Settings"
    • "Trusted Email Domains"

Step 3: Whitelisting the Domain

  1. On the relevant settings page (Messaging or Email Settings), look for an option that allows you to add or authorize an external email domain (sometimes labeled as a 'Trusted Sender' or 'Email Whitelist').
  2. In the input field, enter the required domain exactly as shown:
    @reply.customer-alliance.com
  3. Save your changes to complete the authorization.

Important Note on Pre-Stay Messaging

Customer Alliance utilizes the guest data received prior to arrival to set up and send automated pre-stay messages (which may include details about the stay, location, or essential check-in information, as discussed).

Completing the domain authorization in Step 3 is critical to ensure that these time-sensitive pre-stay communications are correctly processed and sent to the guest without being blocked by the Booking.com system.
