# What is a business unit, and how does pricing work for you?

## A business unit refers to the main hotel property or a distinct, semi-independent department, such as a restaurant, SPA, or conference center.

**How to identify a separate business unit:**

- **Unique Identification:** Has its own dedicated Google ID.
- **Dedicated Team:** Managed by a specific team (e.g., Conferences & Events).
- **Independent Services:** Offers services to non-hotel guests (e.g., a SPA open to the public).

**Pricing & Subscription Rules:**

- **Base Price:** Applied only **once** per overall subscription.
- **Add-on Fees:** For each additional business unit, you need to pay for Review Management, Survey, and AI Hub (depending on your selected package).
- **Package Consistency:** All business units under the same subscription must share the same tier (e.g., you cannot have the main hotel on a PRO package and a restaurant on a CORE package).
