Managing Properties, Clusters, and Locations
The Properties and Locations settings panel allows you to model your account structure to perfectly match your real-world business footprint. Whether you manage a single boutique hotel, a regional collection, or a global enterprise with multiple brands, this section gives you total control over how data is aggregated and isolated across your portfolio.
1. Designing an Infinite Hierarchy
The platform utilizes a nested folder structure that allows for infinite hierarchy levels. This means you can group and sub-group your businesses by any operational layer you require:
- Overarching Group: Your top-tier parent organization.
- Regional Segments: Sub-categories organized by Country, State, Region, City, or Brand.
- Clusters: Custom operational portfolios (e.g., "Airport Hotels," "Luxury Collection," or "North Region").
- Single Locations: The individual physical business or hotel properties sitting at the foundation of these groups.
By structuring your hierarchy accurately, you can filter your main dashboards and analytics to look at a single property, an entire city cluster, or your company's global performance with a few clicks.
2. Adding a New Cluster or Location
Expanding your portfolio within the platform is simple. To add a new folder level or individual property:
- Locate the parent group or Cluster section where you want to add the new entity.
- Click the Add button.
- A modal will open asking you to select between two options:
- Add a New Cluster: Creates a new sub-folder layer to help organize future properties.
- Add a Specific Location: Initiates the onboarding process for a new physical hotel.
3. Onboarding a New Property
If you choose to add a specific location, the setup wizard will prompt you for a few foundational details:
- Property Name: The official name of the hotel as it should appear in filters and reports.
- Website URL: The direct website associated with that specific location.
- Portal ID Information: The unique identification codes or URLs for core review sites (like Google or Booking.com) for that specific property.
Providing this baseline data ensures our system can instantly establish data pipelines to track and pull public feedback for your new location in the background.
